How does the Werkey Affiliate Program work?
Our Affiliate Program has a streamlined process to ensure ease of use while maintaining extremely accurate affiliate tracking.
When the user buys our courses through your affiliate link, you will receive a percentage (%) for each course sold, which will be your commission.
The amount of commission varies for each course.
The program works as follows:
- A visitor will access your affiliate link through your advertising media;
- This visitor's IP will be logged and a cookie will be placed on their browser for tracking purposes;
- If the visitor purchases the course, that is, makes the purchase through its link (the order does not need to be placed during the same browser session, cookies and IPs are stored for 60 days), the order will be registered as a sale for you.
- Your sale will be reviewed and approved;
- You will receive your commission payment quickly and securely.
Assignment Rule
The attribution rule in Werkey Affiliate Program uses the criterion of Last Click (Last Click) where the system uses to assign the commission to an Affiliate, in cases where more than one Affiliate refers the same customer.
Example: a user does a search and clicks on a banner on a particular website. Therefore, the user is in the early stages of the purchase cycle and has the first contact with the product. Assuming he makes the purchase, but before that, he will possibly leave the site and visit other pages before deciding and finalizing this purchase. However, in hours, days or even weeks, this same user is more likely to buy the product and when he sees a link from another affiliate, he makes the purchase.
This is Werkey's tracking technology, which allows the attribution rule to be applied to commission your affiliates. So, in this example the commission would go to the affiliate of the last click (Last Click), who was not the one who generated the Lead.
Cookies
The use of cookies is the platform's way of identifying which affiliate link the buyer used. Werkey cookies last for 60 days.
Long term cookie: If a customer comes from your site to our site and returns to make a purchase only two months later, you will receive a credit.
Last Click
It is also known as "Last Cookie Counts" or "Last Click Counts".
It's the standard rule at Werkey and also the most common for affiliate programs.
This rule assigns the commission to the affiliate who referred the customer most recently, that is, to the last affiliate link the customer clicked on and made their purchase.
The main benefit of this rule allows affiliates to offer special bonuses to their customers who, in turn, have the possibility to choose who they want to buy from.
