How do accounts work at Werkey?
This article forms part of Werkey's Policies and Terms. For more details on these policies, click here.
You will need to have one account for most activities on our platform and it is likely that more than one account will be required to access different systems used to provide our Services. The e-commerce e-commerce platform platform requires one account, while the education platform requires another and it is possible that systems are not integrated with Single Sign On (SSO). An account in our marketplace will be required for a content producer to have access to track sales of their courses. Access to the affiliate platform also requires a specific account.
Keep your password(s) in a safe place, as you are responsible for all activities concerning your account(s). If you suspect that someone is using your account(s), please contact our Support Team via chat, email or WhatsApp. You must have reached the minimum age or consent to use Werkey online services in your country.
When creating and maintaining your accounts, you will need to provide, and continue to provide, complete and accurate information, including a valid email address. You will be fully responsible for your accounts and for everything that happens to them, including any damage or loss caused (to us or anyone else) by anyone using your accounts without authorization. This means you will need to take care of your passwords. You are not allowed to transfer your accounts to another person, or use anyone else's accounts. If you contact us to request access to an account, we will only grant you this access if you can provide the information necessary to prove that you own the account. In the event of the death of the user, the respective account(s) will be terminated.
You are not allowed to share your login credentials with anyone else. What happens to your accounts is your responsibility, and Werkey will not interfere in disputes between students or content providers who have shared login credentials. You should notify us immediately if you learn that someone else is using your account without your permission (or if you suspect any other security breach) by contacting our Support Team. You may need to provide some information so that we can confirm that you are indeed the owner of the account.
Students and content providers, or even affiliates, must be at least 18 years of age to create an account(s) on Werkey and use the Services. If you are not yet 18 years of age, but are already the minimum age of consent for online services in the country where you live (for example, 13 in the US or 16 in Ireland), you may not create an account to take courses, but we suggest asking your parent or other guardian to open an account and help you enroll in appropriate courses. If you have not yet reached the minimum age or age of consent to use online services, you will not be able to create a Werkey account. If we find that you have created an account that breaks these rules, we will close that account. In accordance with the Content Provider Terms you may be required to prove your identity before you are allowed to submit a course for publication on Werkey.
To close the account at any time, please send a request to our Support Teamvia chat or email on our platforms. Please refer to our Privacy Policy and see what happens when you close your account.
